I was wondering if you all could help me understand these rating and how well they will work for certian applications

they are a very dark redish brown tint with a bluish/pink rainbow coating all over the inside and outside of them.

Ratings:

CS-OD > 6 @ 190-420nm @ > 4 > 520-540 & = 5.5 @ 532 & > 3 @ 780-840 & > 5 @ 840-1,070 & > 6 @ 960-1,064 & > 6 @ 5,000 - 11,000.

What do these numbers mean?
Example: CS-OD > 6 @ 190-420nm @ > 4 > 520-540 & = 5.5 @ 532 & so on...

I have a few green lasers, and i will be building a blu-ray soon. are these good for those wavelengths?
Thanks!

OD means Optical density, it shows how good the goggles block light of a certain wavelength.

In your case, you goggles would be very effective at UVA light and violet(190-420nm), very strong at green, very good at near infrared(780-840) and very good over many other IR ranges.

These will be very good for blu-ray and green lasers.

I think, OD is logarithmic, meaning an OD of 1 means 100mW-->10mW, od 2 1mW od 3 0.1mW and so on.
Could be wrong, though.
