I just got a camera that can shoot up to 240 fps.. probably plenty of stuff to do with that, but lets start with the classical laser and match

I love how when the flame appears, it looks like a scarf blowing in the wind. Pretty cool looking.

Too bad i seem out of balloons... wonder if it will be fast enough to pic up some detail on those. I don't have any IR lasers at hand, but perhaps the 'magic' effect would be there too when using 532 or 445 and filming through goggles?

I don't think balloons would be very noticeable at 240FPS, I've tried them at 1000FPS and it's still too fast for the camera.

I think the show "TimeWarped" did balloons,
I think they had to film it at 5k fps to capture it
Water balloons are awesome the way the water stays in
place for a sec after it pops..

I dont think popping a water balloon with a laser will work very well, but i could have a go at it using a needle or something similar Just gotta make sure not to accidentily drown the camera (canon 310HS btw).
