My highest powered green is 200mW, but I'd like something a lot brighter. I don't have a large budget, so I'm limiting myself to o-like and rayfoss (other suggestions welcomed). I'm most interested in the actual green output power (not non-filtered IR) - best bang for the buck if you will.
I'm considering the rayfoss 350mW (bonus that it can be focused, but not essential). I really like the look of this laser (something I do consider). If it's really 350mW, should be noticeably brighter than my 200. www.rayfoss.com
Next is the o-like 300mW and 400mW, but are they really 300/400mW of green?
300mW New portable Green laser torch/IR filtered [OLNGL300] - $339.00 : Welcome to O-Like.com, Your source for laser products
400mW New portable Green laser torch/IR filtered [OLNGL400] - $519.00 : Welcome to O-Like.com, Your source for laser products
If I'm going to spend that much money, part of me wants to break the bank (my bank anyway) and go for the rayfoss 600mW (but is it really 600mW of green, and is it worth the significant extra cost?). www.rayfoss.com
I'm not all that much into burning (have a few 150-200mW burners that spend most of their time focused to infinity), and for this laser I'm mainly after the brightest green beam for the money. Help me make the right decision! :thanks:
