I've a jayrob 150mW kaleidoscopic Green laser.
Now I want to build/buy a blue-ray(or other colour but not red) kaleidoscopic laser which has the beam visibility as my 150mW Jayrob. Is this possible?

no. to get the same visibility in blu-ray than in green you need about 100x times the power. this means 1.5W of blu-ray, forget about it.

Also, forget about other colors, they are all so damn complicated to make.

Violet kaleidoscopes are fun *IF* you are shining it onto a fluorescent surface

But still no "beams"

that looks like a regular blu pointer with a few diffraction caps.

It is, and that's what he was looking for^^. I have some 5mW versions, visibility is horrible, but like Dave said, on fluorescent materials, it's a little fun.

These lasers are very laserfreck kaleidoscope-like laserlands.
I bet you are of the same quality but much more expensive.
To recommend laserlands kaleidoscope violet laser.;)
Pretty soon I'll buy one:
50mW 5 in1 Blue Violet Purple Laser Pointer with 5 Star Caps - $41.00 : Laserlands

I made a vid for you comparing star effects of br, green and red. Notice that the cam shows br as blue. Have fun :)

Edit: My br star pointer is the 50mW version from laserlands, but it is a way underspec

Djny Thanks for the video on the sample of stars in the kaleidoscope.
I have the Laserlands discolaser 30 mW (green) and have the same expander stars.
I'm interested in 50 mw violet because besides including 5 expanders.

I have this one and it's very dissapointing...... De Blue Ray light is very weak. I try new battery's but didn'n help. If you use the kaleidoscopic you have to shine close to a wall to see something..... Is it possible too do some mods with blue ray? I going to open it because it's already crap :)

Thanks for the information knorkneutel. I do not think I buy it. If you are disappointed, certainly to me too.
Will have to wait 5 or 10 years for blue lasers (473 nm) price reduction.:undecided:
