Hello z26 here.
I'm 20 years old and stumbled on here while researching about getting a laser pointer/module. I actually don't have much experience with lasers, so I came here to fix that, as an occasionnal hobby (I like dabbling in various things)
Anyway, I'd have some questions about a laser purchase (with glasses of course).
I've been thinking about getting this red laser (o-like 660nm ajustable 250mw laser module) since it's focusable and NOT battery powered. However, I'm kinda puzzled about how to plug this thing. It doesn't simply look like a 2.1 dc plug and I'm not really knowledgeable about this subject.
So, my questions:
1. Since it's a module, not a diode, I assume the amperage you deliver to it doesn't need to be tightly controlled?
2. Do you know what kind of adapter you need to power this thing?
3. If I don't manage to answer the question above, do you think I could simply cut some wires and solder/wrap the cord with some dc adapter with appropriate voltage/amperage?
Thanks in advance!
