So I just bought a dual 1 watt laser from malaysia and it works fine except that it starts pulsing if it's left on for more than 10 seconds. the pulse is 1 second on 1 second off. is there any way to fix this? do i need a different circuit or is there something i can do to stop it from pulsing?

Could be many things.

1. A driver mode try clicking the switch on and off really fast.
2. A faulty connection, remove grease from the tail cap threads, and test the resistance of the switch to make sure it is not faulty
3. (Probably the most likely) Driver overheating. Lots of IC's now have integrated protection which will turn the laser off if it gets to hot. Got any more details on the lasers? It would help troubleshoot if this is the issue.

yeah i think it's the third option as the pulsing gradually becomes quicker by a half second after the tenth pulse and the timing is very controlled. as for the type of laser i'm new to this sort of thing but it says 'LG-303 RG' on the side but i think that may just be the brand of the casing. as for the specs it's a red and green dual laser <500mw 650nm for the red one and <1000mw 532nm for the green one

if it is the IC there wouldn't be any way to overcome this issue would there? (besides messing with the circuit) or if there is a way to overcome it, would it be wise to?

from borneo, i suspect it's highly underspec though because the red laser doesn't have a beam at night and green laser can barely burn things and only at close range
