Help with TTL Function

Trying to figure out the TTL functions on a laser that I recently purchased and was wondering if anyone has any experience with this laser product? It was purchased from China and I'm guessing it was pulled from one of those Mini-Stage lasers that you see on eBay. It consists of a 30mw green and a 100mw red laser with TTL functions for both and are driven from the same board. The product works fine when power is applied, but the TTL functions are acting a bit goofy or maybe I'm doing something wrong?

Tie the TTL lines to ground or ( - ) via 10,000 ohms resistors if used as stand-alone as it's required for signal stability, or if used for anything else, pull them to ( + ) power line with the same resistor value. The usual TTL practice requirement.
