HELP. Need custom laser projection cap

Hey guys. My little sister got accepted to UCLA and we are having a going away party for her.

I want/need a cap/lens to put in front of my green labby that projects "UCLA" i want to point it at a hill side.

Is this even possible. Can anybody point me in the right direction. I don't even know if I'm using the correct words.

I remember some thread about projecting words via a diverging laser.

Not so sure where it is now...

Try defocusing the labby and putting a piece of paper in front of it with a "UCLA" cut out.

it is a good idea but i think i would need a laser cut die. if i tried to cut it out the laser would magnify all my mistakes.

i could also use a logo of a bear.
