This is a bit embarrassing, but I couldn't find any info on this driver

I just ran across it, in an ESD bag, where it fell behind a box

I'm sure that someone gave this to me, but I cannot remember who or how long ago it was :o

I cannot remember even what the output is

I hope that those more educated in electronics can help

Peace,

I can't find anything specific but I'm wondering if that is perhaps one of the drivers from Wolfman29? One of the "Blitz" series. The only thing I'm sure of is that it's a linear driver.

Sorry, I know that's not much help.

Isn't that one of yours Moh? I swear I had one exactly the same in one of your C6 JAD kits?

Pretty sure Moh uses a 2 pin regulator.

Dave, what does the writing on the driver say? I can't tell if that's an @Drive, Bdrive, 8Drive or GDrive

So far, doesn't look like it was from Jib77, or Kiyoukan.
Still have not looked through Benmwv, RHD, Wolfman, and Lazerer's stuff yet though.
Those are msot fo the people who have designed drivers lately.

Not from me, i've never seen that regulator before.

mine use LD1085 regulators

Well, I'm stumped. Maybe it's from of Ghostchrome's drivers that he never really sold publicly?
Ben was thinking Ghost Drive when I asked him about it, but I can't find anything from GhostChrome that looks like this.

Looks like it's a Micrel MIC2831, voltage reference of 1.240V, so should output somewhere between 1.5-1.6A if those resistors are in parallel .. maybe. Safest to measure it :)

Its definitely not mine. I don't think its rhds either. I looked through his eagle library and it doesnt have an mic2831, or anything else in that package

Thanks guys

I definitely want to give credit to the maker if/when I use this

It says GDRIVE V2.1

On the regulator it says:
<symbol> MIC
29312WU
1022

Peace,
dave

**EDIT**
-- data sheet for regulator = http://www.micrel.com/_PDF/mic29310.pdf

Well I'm stumped, couldn't find anything. Could it be one of AnthoT's earlier drivers?
