Help!! Did I just order the wrong driver for my diode?

Hello,

This is my first post and I'm very sorry if this is in the wrong section or if this has been mentioned elsewhere, but I need to know quickly because I have already ordered the driver and will need to know if I have to cancel it or not(Hasn't been shipping out yet).

I was planning on building a red laser as my first build, I have already bought(without proper research) :S

An Aurora C6 Host Kit
An LPC 826 Diode 660nm
A 490mA Mohgasm Driver Linear
Etc

I looked at the voltage for the diode at 500mA and it seemed to require 3v, my question is, will this driver work with this diode with 1/2 3.7v li-on batteries or will I need to get a different driver?

Your driver is okay, it will work with 2x Li-Ion 16340 batteries that will fit inside your C6 host.

Sinner is correct, 2x16340 should work or 2x18350 may fit. You did fine, that is a good combo for your diode.
