I'm new here, :wave:
ever since I could remember I've been interested in lasers, I remember when I was about 10 years old receiving catalogs from "Information Unlimited" and they had cool things like lasers, and "Ion ray guns" :drool:
I've been wanting so badly to purchase a 1,000mW+ laser and have been considering a WL Arctic III. :shhh:
However, during my research I found this lovely website, which has a thread of an arctic dissection basically saying it has "junk" inside. :undecided: while that may be true, I really like the host and the power level options.
while reading here, I've actually learned a bit more about lasers, and to appreciate them, and respect them a lot more knowing that they can be very dangerous if misused, or "played" with irresponsibly, I've always known this in the back of my mind, but never really took that knowledge quite as serious as I do now, so :thanks:
but I still feel that I have a lot more to learn.
some of the members selling kits on here have so many options, I really get confused as to what I am reading and have trouble making the decision to buy any of them.
any help on choosing a kit (or other high quality laser source) would be fantastic, and I will continue to read and do more research as time goes on.
