I just got registered so I'm just saying hi to everyone. I've been looking at a few laser pointers people have made and they look amazing! I want to build my own but I don't have the tools (or money) right now. Maybe a few tips or hints from the pros? Anyways thanks!

Check out all of the stickies, if you haven't yet, and make sure you read up on safety too. A pair of laser safety glasses is a must.

The search bar is your friend. Trust me, the best way to learn is searching it out. If you can't find something, ask away!
