I really like pHeneX's heatsink. That looks like a perfectly flawless way to keep the diode cool. What a awesome design!

EDIT: Although what I would do is put tape or something over the side 'openings' to create a mini-seal. That way when the fan is on, it would suck air all the way from the beginning of the HS, rather than just the back end of it.

Did you machine this on your own?( making the hole bigger )
Does the module fit nice in there? are there any gaps? I would be really interesting in buying and turning this into a diode heatsink like you did. Very nice.

I Drilled a 12mm hole.. Aixiz modules are pressfit, they sit pretty tight.
If you'd like one shoot me a pm ;)
