I bought a 150mw green laser from lazerpoint.com. I've heard that this is a cheaper sight. They claim there products to be for example 150mw and are actually only like 15. I've heard that at 95mw you should be able to pop a balloon easily and this laser wont pop a black balloon which leads me to bealive this is definately not a 150mw laser. The beam however at night is very bright and can shine very far. Any advice or feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Yes cheap laser are usually under spec
Also there is an IR lose
For example if the laser out put is 1oomw, a lot of the power go as IR, only 10-30mw of green beam lift
