FS LGK 7770 1mW 543nm HeNe & 12V PSU

This is a around 1mW green 543nm helium neon laser , it is in a metal tube but the end sufferd damage and was broken off leaving the ballast resistor lose , the laser is fully working though and has a nice thin geen beam .

The PSU is a 12V input unit rated for the tube , it has a TTL input and interlook delay ( its been cut but can be re connected with some care ) .

Selling as is due to the nature of the device , Uk only please .

You have to provide 12V DC @ 1.8A for the PSU and its up and running .

The tape is there to hold the ballast resistor in place and stop dust sitting on OC , The Tube dose get very warm when running as well as the ballast resistor so the tape would probably need to be removed for long runs

If I hadn't just purchased a 532nm 1.3 watt laser, I'd have probably taken this off your hands, broken metal tube and all. If it doesn't sell right away, I might be back for it.

Go for 2.5A or 3A, you always want to spec your supply higher than your expected load. Especially with all of the cheap Chinese power supplies on the market these days.

Yes any 12V DC adapter that's rated for at least 3A would be fine .

Sorry DashApple, I would of snapped that up. I'm facing expensive criminal damage ATM right near the end of my degree.
The cable alone has cost more than this HeNe and it may not even fix the problem. :banghead:
