NICE work there-- I like the flat bottom too-any chance you will be making any at 11.9mm for green modules?? or how about one like that small enough to fit inside the 'Stinger' host--(btw I will get back to you on the stingers asap- just need to 'find' them in my messy storeroom)

I'm very interested in this, I'm thinking about making a 445nm labby. If say I had the diode putting out 650mW, would this be able to cool it well for long duty cycles?

you should have a good duty cycle with this. it is twice the size of any heat sink in flashlights.
