I know right....this is as low as im doing it if noone buys it for $200 im keeping it:beer:

If I hadn't just spent $225 on a laser last night... this is where that money would have gone.

Especially with Jerry's kind offer to recoat and recalibrate.

Now I hope no one takes it for a good long while so I can put money together. Response time on these seems to be pretty damn good.

What did you do to the poor sensor?

Same thing all of us dumbassses do when we first get an LPM... burn it with a powerful 445nm laser:p

The coating on mine is nowhere near as bad, but does have one large burn "scratch" :(

Now I first pre-defocus all my lasers prior to LPMing.

It was from me not taking enough care of it. Many times i didnt pay enough attention to the focus on the laser. I can guarantee its performance though.

That is the way it should be done... The Thermopile Sensor is not
a Laser focusing area/surface...:gj:

Re: FS 3.2W laserbee 2 power meter $200.

jerry how much would it cost to get it re-coated if bought after December 3

It will cost $35.00Cnd to re-coat and $50.00Cnd to re-calibrate
after re-coating plus round trip Insured and tracked shipping.

This is why we emphasize that new LaserBee owners............

please-490.gif
read the ENTIRE User Instructions BEFORE you
handle/use your new LaserBee LPM to assure years of
accurate and trouble free operation of your LaserBee
and Thermopile...

Yep the first thing I did when I got my 3.2W LB II was not to read the directions as Jerry so kindly suggested but to break out my 445 laser and immediately put a small burn on the sensor.:banghead:

Luckily the unit was fine and I learned a lesson the hard way.:D
It is hard to resist the urge to just jump in and play with your new toy. Anyway that is why I started posting this as it really is a great visualization to help keep from burning it.
