You said it like it's a good thing. Those drivers have been know to ouput over 500mA, and the voltage spike at startup can blow your diode completely. C'mon Jake! Use common sense.

Arghhh for gods sake if he says stock driver from dorcy and you think thats stupid just say that,"Whoever is buying this that driver is dangerous and may kill your diode" ok and then stop posting on the thread.

Then the buyer will read that and buy it or be like hmmm... no thanks then!!
