I have 100 super bright white blinking LEDs for sale that I bought some time ago. I'm selling them because they are not what I expected. They were described as flashing, but they are in fact blinking. What's the difference? A flashing LED makes a short pulse of light, like a photo flash and then have a longer pause time. Blinking LED's on-time is as long as the off-time. It's nothing wrong with that, it is perfect as an indicator-light because you can't miss it. When many of them is on as a group it is like staring at a busy anthill lol.
The LEDs are pretty much brand new, I have tested them and they all work excellent. The blink frequency is a little under 2 Hz (~2 blinks per second). The lens is water clear and makes a narrow beam, the die is sitting on to one side, thus the beam shots a little to the side. Even though the beam is focused it is still very visible at any angle because the die is not mounted in a reflective cup like most standard LEDs. It is also easy so sand down lens flat to make it extremely visible @~100°
Voltage: 3.6V
Current: 20mA
$20 usd shipped
