This is my new custom designed laser called the Arcane.

The host itself is made from aluminium. It has been coated with nickel coating so it is very shiny too
Only the focus adapter has not been coated. But it has been polished to mirror finish

445nm Specs :

Diode : 9mm 445nm ( Blue )
Diode's Output : 3W+
Driver : Buck Driver set to 2.3A
Lens : High Power Lens - 405G2
Power supply :2x 18350 or 2x 16340
Duty cycle : 2 minutes on / 1 minute off

635nm Specs :

Diode : Mitsubishi ML501P73-02
Diode's Output : 1W+
Driver : 5 modes driver : High ( 1200mA ) \ Med \ Low \ Strobe \ SOS
Lens : High Power Lens - 405G2
Power supply : 1x18650
Duty cycle : 2 minutes on / 1 minute off

Is this the one your GF videotaped 10 km from your home? That was amazing! Do you make these hosts yourself? It looks like a solid metal flashlight, very futuristic.

No the one my Girl Friend filmed was a 2.2W C8.

This one is totally new. The host has been designed by me and was made by a machinist.

It does look like a one piece host. This why I like it so much

Looks like a huge heat sink. Does this host help the diode run longer? How long is the duty cycle?

I tested it up to 2 minutes. And it was not even warm , It can do more than 2 minutes ... But I would still go with 2 minutes on 90sec off.

To anybody who's considering this laser, i've purchased several from Eitan and he's a great guy, was quick to answer all my questions, and has great customer service. Besides, just look at that host!!

Very nice. I'm still waiting for parts from China, I'm modifying my ms-envy to have key lock where the tail click was and a momentary side button, gonna be pretty slick when I'm done.

That host looks very nice, is it heavy?

I don't know if this is the same story as yours, but my SFCR-200 sat in NYC for the longest time before tracking started to update again. It does go through customs and then gets sorted. It was a total of two weeks and one day for delivery to midwest US. But once you get past the port of entry delay, it goes really fast to your door. I think that delay in NYC is pretty typical of international parcels.
