Question - I'm not that happy with the divergence on my DL Viper 95mW pointer. I suspect they set the focal length short for burning ability, which results in a divergent beam over a longer distance (?). I actually had a go at refocusing it, only to discover that the collimating lens was glued precariously onto the focusing ring - of course it dropped out, and I spent about an hour cleaning it and carefully gluing it back into position. (I work in laboratories and have a steady hand and a lot of patience).
So I'm back exactly where I started from with this laser.
I've decided to buy a green module, about the same power (approx. 100-150mW) but if possible I'd like to have an adjustable focus ring. Here's the dilemma; all 532nm modules I've been looking at for sale don't appear to be focusable - to my untrained eye in any case. Is this true? All I want to be able to do is fine tune the focus for the lowest divergence I can manage and leave it set at that. Any suggestions?
For instance THIS module from o-like - focusable?
