I personally do not trust this website,

is also misleading advertising 1500mW, and in the characteristics says:

Max. Output Power 1000mW

In my opinion It not inspires confidence at all.

I question how they're boosting...

- Current: 1.1A
- Working Voltage : 3.7V

...into enough output current to achieve 1500mW ?

Yeah but the price is really competitive to the WL Arctic
which outputs a lot less than 1000mW as WL advertises...

Yes, it's the small brass screw that you can see on the right when you take away the cap .... it "stretch" the crystal, changing the lenght of the resonant cavity, so the wavelenght can shift from 400 to 450nm ..... just be sure to not force it more than half turn, or you will end breaking the crystal .....

(just kidding, ofcourse :p :D)

Yes +this Arctic version is focusable.


Found a better alternative here (same version, power guarantee):

RIFLE445nm - 1W Focusable Burning Blue Laser


LAZERER test each of their lasers and the include a individual spec sheet with power certification for an extra $2.

That certainly looks better, just wondering about the <1000mw stated, it should be without the < :p

I also wonder what part you have to twist to focus.

Certainly looks like a better deal then WL crap:p

For some extra $ you can even get it with an alu case and the different heads that you can screw on it :D

Yes, I think LAZERER is a better option.

I ordered a laser here, I'm waiting to arrive to see if it is true that them
checked the power of every selling laser
 
It says 'focusable', but does not look focusable...

It looks like they got some of the same hosts as WL uses.

Actually, the Arctic is focusable, but not readily focusable...

Hi this is Max from LAZERER. Thanks DJNY bring me here. Yes we guarantee the power of all of our laser. Honestly our RIFLE 445 has output around 750-900mW. The diode inside RIFLE445 is 1W LD ( which is usually be pushed to 1.5W-2W). The highest power 445nm diode so far is 1W only. The reason that you see some 1.2W, 1.5W, even 2W 445nm laser because people are boosting the current. The cost of those power are the same. But its life will be shorten.

There is no doubt that the laser is focusable. You can add $10 for 5 projector head (no case).

So you'll "adjust" the current for the buyey at the expense of diode life?

Sounds good, thanks for the answer, your honisty is apreciated!

Could you just explain how to focus the laser?
Is it done by twisting a part of the host?, is it done by accessing the lens internally?
Im really curious:yh:

Oh and the power certificate is really a nice touch!
