Here it is... I was pretty excited when it actually went :D

OK Gus -- What was the mA current?  I did that too with the first GB  ;D

Good work but now get back to reality and 38 mA !!!  The blue can be focused to a pinpiont for this fun but watch the current.  Mine lasted 15 minutes till the LED grave. I was running 45 mA and getting 16 mW.

I just lit a match with a blu-ray at 39.6mA, I think I'm gonna leave it there. I busted the pins off on accident so i have to hold the wires in place, I just can't solder new pins on!

Mine has been through about 3 9v batteries at 50mA. I keep waiting for it to die but it just keeps on truckin. No yellow in the spot at all, and no evidence of damage when I look at the spot unfocused on a wall. Its the little diode that could.

EDIT: I wanted to add that I haven't measured the actual current. It has a 100ohm pot (set all the way open) and a 25ohm resistor. I did the math and came up with 50mA, my new DMM should be here soon so I can get some actual numbers.
