First gas laser help

I have been wanting to build a gas laser for some time and i was thinking about a 20 watt or so co2 laser. I have looked around google but i have had trouble finding any sites with information on how to get started. If anyone knows any good websites or products or advice please let me know.

Thank you both for your help. I have one quick question. I was reading Diane's Laser page and it said that the 40 Watt laser tube was only putting out 11 Watts, are they all less powerful then the sellers claim or is it not focused?

Nah, I think she just chose not to run it at full blast, she also was at the power source's limit,
if I understood correctly.
Those tubes should do their rated power, for a while at least.
