Is there interest in a kit for electronics beginners who want to start building small circuits with basic components?
The kit would include:
All common resistors
All common capacitors
Some pots
Wire
Solder
Some connectors
Some ICs (555, 4017, 317, 7805, 7812)
Some diodes, transistors
Some LEDs
Some switches
Breadboard
Prototyping boards
A desoldering tool
TO220 heatsinks
Alligator clip wires
Basically a good starter kit except for:
Soldering station
Lab power supply
Tools like pliers etc
Digital Multimeter
though I might be able to add some of the above.
With it, you can start making basic stuff like flashing lights, timers, counters, but also laser drivers, and anything else basically. Not only that, but you need these standard components to make any circuit, though for most circuits you may need a few extra components that aren't used as often.
