My advice to everyone, and I've done this, is to not leave your laser in your pants and put your pants in the wash. My poor 100 mW green shape-shifted and eventually died.

My 200 mW green is now in the hands of some old guy who bought it off me.

Yep, a washing machine will clean your laser of all photons!

There are many ways to kill a laser. That is one of the more obscure ones I've heard to date. I feel your pain. Bet you won't be doing THAT again though, eh?

Yeah, I've learned my lesson. Plus having a laser pointer in your pocket could pose a problem. The ones without security features at the bottom and just the button, they can press against your wallet, for example, and go through your pants! So double fail on my part.

Jerry,

I think we are going to be deciphering this forum for some time now after the giant title wave of, uh, new users poured in.

bummer, i'm just fortunate I never put my laser in my pocket, since it's a litte big.

He used to have a 200mW green laser. Money changed hands. Now some old guy has it instead of him.
