While letting the dogs out before going to bed last night, it was unexpectedly very foggy. It was a perfect time to test out some long exposure shots of my lower power lasers.

My laser camera skills suck, these are several second exposures with no flash. I still need to clean the darn lens on the camera though. There are still dust specs! :(

GLP-594

635-2C

My wife's hands shake worse then mine. The beam is not that fat.

That's not Armageddon in my neighbors back yard. That's a long exposure shot of a security light! :p

This is still one of my favorite shots of the night.

What camera at what exposures are you using? Zoom in on the pictures, the white pixels are probably "dead pixels", they do work but at long exposures they show up like this. I have a fujifilm finepix 9600, and only a exposures of tens of second at high ISO values I get them. It's hard to get decent shot with such long exposures without a tripod.
Taking pictures close to the beam and looking along the beam gives the best result, the scattering has peaks both in the forward and backward direction.
