They don't look like they would handle the current for a two watt laser diode from the size of that small semiconductor device/valve on it, but maybe it will. They sell these drivers for eight bucks if you just want one. I have some much lower current blue single mode 450nm diodes I'm considering them for, maybe try one and see if it will adjust down to 300 mills. I'd rather have a driver rated for a higher output running at low output than the other way around, if it will adjust that low.
