This is really a review of the company and laser itself so this seamed most logical to post in.

Starting with the company. Very good support services! It is the second time they have helped me pay for a laser directly through paypal, they have no problem paying that way if you cannot pay via card, after paying them they sent me an email with tracking number as normal. No trouble at all there, although I would point out that theyr support staff are somewhat... un-professional in the way they respond to emails.

The only hiccup they have made because I paid that way was that they have sent the laser with an EU mains plug attached instead of the UK one. Its not really a big issue though, it can be changed easily.

Now onto the laser. When I first got this thing delivered I thought something was wrong, it was in a very small box and as light as a feather... thinking something was wrong I opened it immediately and it was all there. the PSU/Drivers is only 10cm long, 4.5cm wide and 4cm tall. The laser is even smaller at only 3cm wide, 3cm tall and 8cm long. All parts are heat sinked well, and both the PSU and laser have a small fan on the back blowing cold air over the heat sink, despite the small fan size it works very well. I have kept the laser running for 15 mins and still everything is very cold.

Reading up on the forums, green pointers are very dim when cold and I have noticed that myself with my Viper 75mw. But amazingly as soon as it is turned on it is instantly bright, even more amazing is the fact the module is only 50mw and my pointer is 75mw yet the module looks 3 times brighter than the pointer! Even when the pointer is on fresh batteries and in a well lit room. I accidentally stumbled across this while testing it as well, the module has a very good burning power, again beating my pointer. Almost anything black burns instantly, I only just noticed that there are burn marks on the wheels on my computer chair, the chair was 2 meters away from the laser when testing it and even then it burned.

I am interested in getting this lasers power measured, for 50mw it is extremely good.

I will post some images later tonight, I managed to snap some on my phone in a bright room with absolutely no smoke at all and even then the pictures are almost as good.
