disassemble AAA stars green laser?

Why not just get the 5mW module DX sells?
Anyway... it should be pretty easy, I would imagine... just pull the module straight out.

I want it to work on 1 AAA because I don`t have enough space..
the green is case+ and the red is case- so need different power sources.. (and the module is shorter..)

You can use a 10440. Battery life won't be that great but they supply 3.7V on a single cell.

I forget this battery.. but still the module is shorter.
I will order and try to open it.
Thanks, Ofek

Careful pulling out the modules ..... before, check for the existence of threads at the internal side of the tube .....

I have some different units, and never found "just-glued" modules, as the ones that are usually showned in youtube videos ..... some of mine have the module screwed inside from the back (that mean that, first, you have to take away the circuit spacer, bend the circuit for take away the metal button that come out, then unscrew all the assembly from the back), some others have the module screwed from the front, and then another ring screwed against the module for keep it fixed, so in this case you need first to unscrew the keeping ring, then the module, both from the front ..... and all them externally looks as the ones that you call "new wish" pen-style (black "rubberized" body, silver front tip, so on)

Different manufacturers made different assembly systems .....

Offtopic and spamming ..... you guys realized that with your signatures, you're putting in chrisis the economy of the cereal market ? ..... (LOL, j/k, sorry :p :D)

The laser you are referring to easily coming out. Just pull out from the silver tip. If you do not wish to damage the silver tip then first wrap it in electrical tape. The silver tip can then screw off of the green module once it is out so it doesn't really matter for you I guess since you will be discarding it anyway.
