Hi,
i want to buy one of those DX.com Lasers.
I want to take a 50mW Green Laser, but the only question I have is where the is difference between a True Laser and a normal Laser.
There is just a difference of 5$ so i want to be sure about buying the better ;D

Are the IR-rays of the 50mW laser so dangerous for the eyes, and are indirect rays of the lasers dangerous as well ?

Regards,
Ingo

I think the true terminology is to try and reasure that they're upto spec in terms of output.

The Difference between "Normal" and "True" Lasers is a
marketing ploy... IMO...

Agree 100%
The terminology is just made up bullcrap. It started on ebay with 5mW pointers. It makes me sick.

LOL, My "True" 5mw is actually around 30mW. If your looking for safe green lasers, this isn't going to be it.
