Don't use EMS if you are ordering lasers and live in the USA. Customs likes to check EMS packages more carefully and your lasers might be confiscated.

WOW ! Why did you spend so much on those red goggles ? I sell them cheaper than that, for known good quality goggles I think you will very lucky to receive the laser since you did EMS shipping...I only know of one person that has ever ordered from them, and paid for EMS shipping, and received their laser - everyone else has not. Beware of those broad spectrum goggles, too - I don't know their ratings, but you are risking an awful lot (your eyes) on unknown quality like that. Some things it is important to buy "name brands" - and I would (and have) say that even if I didn't sell the red goggles.

Actually >5mw pointers without safety features ARE illegal to import into the USA. If you use normal airmail customs never checks the packages so you can order them without any problems. EMS=customs checking the contents of your package=anything illegal being confiscated.

Btw why would you spend over $100 on goggles? You can buy red+green goggles from wicked for less even after you pay for shipping. Also the wicked goggles don't look completely fugly.

i got the deal extreme goggles because it was easier to pay a little more on one sight than on multiple sites and also, i got the standard air mail shipping on deal extreme for all my items, i was just wondering if i should have got ems, but with your answers it is obvious i chose correctly!

Considering it only shaves off like 3 days from the shipping (in my experience), that DX takes far longer to even begin the shipping process, and if the order is broken up, only the first package gets sent via EMS, I don't find it worth the price. Even if EMS is free, the little time it supposedly saves you when it is shipped doesn't seem worth the risk of customs confiscation.

I've used EMS from NL, DL, & WL, but not DX. The packages came through just fine, no sign they were ever opened-up for inspection.
The most amazing package came from Canada Post EMS, it arrived the next day; now that is really fast for International EMS, the rest took a couple of days to get here.
