I'm looking to buy my first laser after reading this forum for a couple weeks and going over safety regulations to make sure i know what i'm doing beforehand as i am a bit accident prone :D, i'm planning on getting a 200mw green as it seems like a solid choice BUT i'm in the UK any laser-stores based here? I'm looking for something fairly cheap £80 budget but i guess i could stretch to £120, what should i be looking for?

I was going to go all out and buy an arctic III from WL but after reading reviews i'm unsure about them and think i'd like to start off with something a bit more basic and less dangerous.

So in short, 150mw green, 80-£120 budget, cheapish shipping (unlikely but hey) and somewhere that ships to the UK.

Something else, how are yellow lasers there doesn't seem to be many of them around?

Edit1: Not stretching ran across O-like and rayfoss both seem very good just wasn't sure if i was missing something obvious. O-likes site is a bit tedious as well can't change currency to GBP and theres a huge lack of filters, 25 green lasers is more like parts for a green laser.

How does this look? Silver chrome green laser 150mW/good finish [OLSGL150] - $92.00 : Welcome to O-Like.com, Your source for laser products i realise its 150mw but im guessing theres not a huge amount of difference between 150 and 200?

Edit2: Decided to stick to looking for 150mW

Options:
https://www.optotronics.com/proddetail.php?prod=Opto150 <- I like the look of this one more than the others reviews say its overspec and high quality
www.rayfoss.com <- key lock isnt such a bad thing?
www.rayfoss.com <- ^
Silver chrome green laser 150mW/good finish [OLSGL150] - $92.00 : Welcome to O-Like.com, Your source for laser products
PowerCheck Laser: Focusing 70-150mW Green Laser - Class 3B Laser - Detailed item view - OdicForce Lasers Online Shop ? Questionable
$33.99 Focusable Green Beam Laser Pointer Pen Flashlight AG-1006 50mW/100mW/150mW/200mW - BudgetGadgets.com ??? saw it on styropyros channel PMed him about it he said go for optotronics or O-like having trouble deciding though :\

With a pair of these unless someone can recommend something better: 405nm,473nm,532nm laser safety goggles [OLGLG532] - $19.99 : Welcome to O-Like.com, Your source for laser products

Reading on the Forum for a couple of weeks you must
have run across O-Like and Rayfoss as possible good
suppliers of what you are looking for...

We can always tell when a new member is stretching
the truth a bit...

BTW... welcome to the Forum..

Re: Need some help (noob here)

Odicforce is in the UK and have both finished lasers as well as kits and components if you want to build your own.
I have good experience with them.

It does not look like they have a 200mW laser, but you could start smaller and use the savings for a pair of good goggles.
I would recommend that.
