Well this build has been set aside for awhile for a review so I decided tonight is the time to show the builds I have been working on for the last few weeks. I haven't been on the forums in a long time because of work/ machine tool classes at Midlands Tech and so on. I will soon have my own lathe here at my apartment and will offer custom heatsinks to be made as well as custom hosts and heat sinks for current builds. I work with 80,000 HAAS lathes and wish I could take one home Anyway I will save that for another time.
Here is the basic layout of the build, including a custom made front aperture piece that is the same thickness as the lens included.
This build uses an common Ultrafire host with a custom heat sink I made. Fits the O-like module snug for a good heat transfer.
The hole heatsink drops in perfect where the P60 drop in was. The overall build is excellent these Ultrafire hosts are excellent quality and the threads are deep and clean. The assault ring is also a nice touch. :sold:
Here are some beamshots taken outside with no fog or smoke into the sky and trees. The trees are about 300 feet away. My camera sucks and I'm getting a new one there are not settings for shutter exposure.
