JarrettB has no clue about what Wicked's next move is, but yeah, they will never sell them. It's not in their best interest, and Jarrett absolutely knows that first hand, right Jarrett? ;)

Gotta give Jarrett credit for being smart enough to figure out that if WL sold properly calibrated LPM's, customers would find out the truth and there would be a 99% return rate.

Exactly, people would be MAD if their lasers were 700mW and not 1W :p

Why would they want to sell one product that shows that there other products are complete bullshit. The only way WL will ever sell LPM's is if they calibrate them to read 200-300mW over actual power.... and it is definitely not beneath them to do it either.

Self proof of anything is considered bragging. The LPM, whether sold or not will be in favor or biased towards WL.

Using an analogy, its like trying to justify yourself when you already have a terrible reputation among your colleagues, and then attempting to justify yourself in the most inappropriated manner possible.

Wicked lasers, having some degree of sense, will not sell these LPMs, as thus, if one were to test a dollar-store reddie, it would oddly read 120mW, which is either unlawfully unreasonable, or just plain propaganda for the company.

to indirectly but one for accuracy testing purposes....

They could always sell ones that randomly give out reading by 10-20% too high, or would it need to be higher?

And what if a person tries to meter his 1mW green laser and sees that it is 200-300mW?

I don't think Jarrett could figure out his next bowel movement, let alone what Wicked is and isn't planning on doing.

That said, there is no driving force for Wicked to start selling meters.
