Excellent Review! Thanks so much for doing this! I don't know if you were already planning on making this review, but its cool because I asked, and you delivered!

More and more, I keep finding reason to make a trip to CO! ;)

That is epic.

For that price, I'm rather tempted. Also, I want one of those cameras.

Wish I made a real income. Being a landscaper, I have to wait years till the price comes down to be able to afford a gem like this.

Wow, that is impressive. I knew you were up to something special, and now that I see it, I can see why you were excited.

I really hope the price drops to something a little less painful, I really want one.

One of the most comprehensive reviews I've seen. Thank you so much for putting all the time to bring us the exotic laser! :thanks::beer:

Aryntha,

That is an understatement in my book, EXCELLENT review!!

Heheh, thanks a lot - There's a reason, when I sent the first pictures to DJNY, I labeled them "Beam porn." :)

It'll be nice to not have to light 10 matches and blow them out and wave them around repeatedly. :)

Wow what a damn sweet laser and a great great review!
I'm really impressed I also talked to CNI about that wavelenght about a month ago and they only said they would have to ask their engineer and about the price range gave me no info ;)

Yeah I'd also like to see a 488 or 500.8nm dpss or even more at about 515nm but I think that is going to take a while since there is not even a big labby dpss module with 1mW for that orange color so far made...

What a cool laser!! since it's so close to 555nm, it should be even more visible than 532nm.. I'd love to see it firsthand. That's got to be nearly one-of-a-kind..

561nm? Who's seen THAT wavelength in a laser? Is it green? Is it yellow? --

At last one color I've been waiting for.

If you'd like a name for this wavelengths color it would be Chartreuse (yellow). A pale shade of that color though. This wavelength might be called a lemon yellow also. The beam not the spot in the photo seems to bear this out

See Visible Laser Spectrum Chart Skywise's Lasers & Optics Reference Area

Chartreuse (color) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

532nm is chartreuse too not green.

$845. That's not a bad price at all when you take into account a 5 mw green pointer ten or so years ago could cost 400+ US dollars and a 10 mw cost $700. I've heard they were much more than that when first introduced.
