I have Five Four Three Two zeroDorcy Jr. kits for sale.
They include all the parts you need to build your own laser.
You provide the tools and the labor.

The kits will include:
Dorcy Jr.  (with pill, reflector, and stock driver removed)
Dark Horse full length heat sink (with allen wrench)
AixiZ module head with acrylic lens
Drlava V4 flexdrive
Battery contact spring (already cut down)
Battery

No diode = $80
PHR (blu-ray) = $90
LCC (red) = $90
6X (blu-ray) = $140

If you purchase a "matched set" (one blu-ray and one red) I will throw in a storage/carrying case

I will press your diode into the module for you if you want/need me to.
I will NOT set your driver or solder anything together for these prices.
If I break out my soldering iron, I'll just finish the laser and sell it as a completed unit (for more profit)
(or you could send everything to GooeyGus for his assembly service)

I only have 5 of these available.
I only have 4 of these available.
I only have 3 of these available.
I only have 0 of these available.

Peace,
dave

Nah.  If I break out my tools on these, I'll just build a laser for sale.  You'll need your soldering iron out to assemble the laser anyway.  Just build another test load with your "couple extra dollars."  That way, not only will you have a working laser cheap, but you will have a test load again for your next build.

Heck, I've probably got some extra 1N4001s and a resistor here I could send along.  I'll look.

Yeah. I'm really just being lazy. I don't feel like making a laser right now, so I decided to give people a chance to build their own for basically the cost of parts. There are $76 in parts without a diode. All I've done is tack on a bit for PayPal fees. If they don't sell, I'm sure I will feel like building lasers again soon. Then I'll sell the completed lasers for ~$200 for a 6X blu-ray and ~$300 for a "matched set" of these Dorcy hosts.

Why don't they use gold solder?

Re: FS:  Dorcy Jr. Kits

Although I love Romisen, Ultrafire and the other well-known CN hosts, it will be nice to have something that is from the other side of the world for a change...

...assuming Dorcys are really manufactured in OH...  :p

Re: FS:  Dorcy Jr. Kits

I've never looked into where they were manufactured. Might be a nice research project.

Peace,
