My first post here, my first youtube video. Two great things that taste great together. :)

I've got a couple of cheap green pointers that I bought off of Amazon.com. They are labeled as <50mw.

I don't have access to a power meter so I don't know how powerful they actually are but I'm pretty sure it's much less than 50mw. They are great star pointers. Nice visible beam.

I got to wondering how much IR was getting through so I decided to do a little test. Please forgive the amateurishness of the video. (Be gentle, it's my first time. :D )

hard to tell with a camera. Camera's are calibrated just as well as your MK.1 eyeballs are. Meaning you really have no clue.

Only real way to know, is get a LPM.
