so i was researching IR diodes and i came across this... i was wondering if it could work or not

Detailed Description
Prime all gold plated IR emitter made by Optek OP130 features a forward current of 100mA continuous, and a max power dissipation of 200mW. The OP130 is a high intensity gallium arsenide infrared emitter mounted in a T0-46 housing with a built in lens. Forward voltage is 1.75VDC, wavelength at peak emission is 935mm, radiant output (min) 1.0mW, and emission angle at half power point is 18 degrees. Brand new - full length leads. G15771

I haven't ever mixed all my LEDs in one pile, and I don't want to. ::)

Why not? Are you worried in case you get lost in all those LEDs and can't find your way back out ?

I just had a crazy thought. could you pump a ktp with one of these? I know it wouldn't be coherent, but would it make green light at all? ;D Anyway, this might the LED used on those little tiny rc helicopters? :-?

I don't think so since it's 935nm not 1064nm. And I think the tiny rc helicopters use standard 5mm LED package emitters. :-/
