Can a 405nm laser burn stuff?

According to some customer reviews,

"It won't burn stuff... Only actual blue lasers will burn things due to the extra infrared light in their beams. Violets don't really do a darn thing other than look kinda-pretty."

Is this true?

they burn very nice
but if your looking for a real burner contact daguin to build you a 405nm in a kryton groove
just remember ever thought a 405nm laser does not look as bright as the 445nm and the 532nm it can and well do eye damage so please wear proper eye protection
