I made this laser pointer.
Heatsink is aluminum.
custom driver using lm117.

copper aixiz module with acrylic lens. and LPC-826 diode.

You'll want to get a glass lens eventually.

No my first build is 445nm Laser pointer 2W. i am going to post about it in some time. I have few Glass lenses. But for that power i did not feel to use glass lens.

Eventually it will degrade though.
The glass lens gives a prettier dot as well.

I've made heat sinks for the C8, they're really good hosts.
