I was hoping I would find some C++ programmers on this forum. So I can post questions for software designing or anything close to that. Or make a team if people are interested..

I know a tad bit, but forget asking me. I hate c++. The compilers just not that great. Sure you can do about anything with it, but they could at least offer either a better compiler, or bring some better standard libraries to work with.

Though I could just be seriously spoiled by PHP (made under C, very similar syntax.)

Have you ever tried bloodshed? And what is wrong with the standard libraries most compilers come with?

I would love to learn!! I'm doing a course at university and programming fundamentals is my first course... anything that will give me that extra edge on the competition would be awesome!

I am planning to learn C++ this summer. It's hard to master though. I heard that you need 2 over 1 year to get used to the basic before you can continue and create a useful program :|

Yeah, you're spoiled by PHP. I use both frequently, and it's hard to use one after the other.

I'm a C++ junkie. I'll keep an eye on this thread.

I have been coding in c++ for over 10 years. I can help you with anything you have questions about...

Btw, what are you planning on coding anyway?

Where are the C++ books? I see C#... but why is a photo of your book relevant.

And why are books even relevant in general? The internet is a much better resource. :p
