Buying lasers through a middleman

Due to the fact that a few reputable laser companies will not ship high powered lasers to Australia I am looking for someone who is willing to be a middleman for me and possibly also LPM the laser.

Ideally the middleman would be located somewhere where there is no regulations on laser products.

And how exactly the laser that is sent from the middleman's country can make it through Australian customs?

Someone could probably disassemble it and send it in parts.

I think it's the fact that they wont send it, not that it wouldn't make it through.

Discussed this issue with Susie from o-like a while back, when I was paranoid about US customs.

She said they will ship the laser in separate parts, add a sticker if needed, and ship battery separately. Of course you would need to pay extra...

Middle men don't really assist with delivery too much, more to guard against scams.
