Buying first laser?

I want to get into laser pointers after seeing a couple my friends had. No I am not some 12 year old. I was really interested in the S3 Arctic from WL but then I read all of your reviews and im having second thoughts. Im looking for a good laser (Not a 5mW) that Im not going to have to spend hundreds on. Id prefer to keep it in the $100's or lower. Any suggestions?
