I wanted to buy a laser 250mw от rayfoss, but changed my mind in favor of home-made assemblies.

My interest of fair violet laser pointer 250 mw and above. I need to get this laser light could match at least a distance of 4 meters (possibility to focus a very small dot).

I ask the price of voice and data (photos, videos plus) for your laser pointer.

I am interested in absolutely collected specimens.

Do you like Dorcy Jr builds? I have one w/ a GGW 6X in it:

This unit is currently doing 250+ mW but I suggest a bit lower setting for longer life, and it currently has a Jayrob Glass lens, but I can switch it back so,
w/ 405 G-1 lens $198 w/ acrylic $148 (plus shipping and PP fee). -Glenn

I have this one available. It is an 8X (violet/bluray) with a flexdrive.
It uses a single 14500 rechargeable battery.
It is putting out 320mW with the stock aiXiz acrylic lens.
If you pick up one of Jayrob's 405-G-1 lenses, it will put out 440mW

It is $300 shipped

I like this host, but I have a few questions:

1. 250 mW are measured on a power meter (laser bee?). Do you have a video of the measurement power?
2. 250 mW issues on acrylic lenses?
3. How much do you decrease power ?
4. At what maximum distance it can light a match? (5, 7 meters?)
5. How many time you are used a laser?
6. Battery type?
7. Do you have a video as shine a laser pointer?

1) I have a Scientech 365 with a Scientech 36001 calorimeter. I do not have a video of me measuring it. You have my reputation available for you at the click of a button or by simply asking here what kind of man I am.

2) You will have to order a lens from Jayrob @ $58. I can provide a link and he can ship it to me to install for you (no charge for the installation)

3) I have never tried to light a match at any distance with it. I know it will smoke my ceiling from sitting in my chair

4) The laser is new. It has only had a few burns for testing after I built it

5) You focus it by turning the lens in front with your fingers

6) I do not have a video of it working. See my answer to 1) above

I am trying to work on a 6x or 8x for a higher output violet
laser, and that host looks really slick. Also, do you make your
own heatsinks for that host or does someone else make them?

DealExtreme: $18.90 UltraFire C3 Stainless Steel Cree P4 LED Flashlight (AA/14500)

The heat sink in this one is one of the last Dark Horse heat sinks made for this model. I do not have the fabricating/metal working skill to make one of these yet.

I do not believe anyone else has stepped up to the plate for this one yet.

Unless someone else picks up the gauntlet, this may be the last of its kind

And I believe that jayrob has a green kit for this host with heatsink (just checked, yes)
and I think he said that he could maybe drill out the exit hole to fit a module (maybe an aixiz?).

So there maybe hope yet....

But your laser is defenitely a last of it's kind being a dark horse heatsink.

I didn't realize that Jayrob had worked with this host. He will definitely be able to adapt/adjust the heat sink to hold an AixiZ and driver.

I have made a few kits with the SS C3 but have not made a thread because I have told people who question me about them, that I think Dark_Horse and Likeitbright are making this kit.

So to try them first because I don't want to copy... Then they have come back to me saying that the other guys said they didn't mind...

So the ones that I make, are not like theirs. They are just exactly like my Pocket Mini style build. Using the host pill to mount the driver as shown in my Pocket Mini thread. And then with a separate heatsink as well. (copper or aluminum)

So in this way, my build of the C3 host is different than the above mentioned sellers...

But have you seen my new kit? <shameless plug>
