Hello,
Through a series of... Unfortunate... Events. (My own fault).
Two pins from my laser diode have snapped off at the base.
I can solder quite well, but the problem is, as they were hidden inside the pointer case when it broke, I do not know which pin goes where.
If anyone could look at the pictures I have taken and help identify where things need to go I would be very grateful.
Another question, for after I attach the pins.
Where would I connect the positive end of the battery?
Unfortunatly, I had to cut the case open to get to the diode. I could not salvage it.
I would just go and buy a new one... But import laws make it very hard to obtain pointers in Austraia.
