Bought a IgorT blu Ray laser Need ideas!

I purchased a used IgorT Blu Ray laser here on the forums. It should be arriving in the next 5-8 days or so. In the meantime having never owned a high powered laser, I need ideas!

What should I do with it when I first get it? What wonders await me?

Get matches and balloons. Find glow in the dark stuff. Buy a fog machine.

405nm lasers are not nearly as bright as green or red, so it will appear rather dim. At first you need to get used to focusing the beam of a laser.

It can burn through white A4 paper with a little patience.

If you want to keep it steady for burning and pointing here's a good cheap combination.

The beam will be visible at night.

Try and find glow in the dark paint or tiles. Somebody else can link you to the site selling them.

Blu-ray's beams look great in fog or other such beam enhancers. Here's a guide I wrote.

When you first get it..
GET GOGGLES!
You won't be able to look at it up close, and if you do, your eyes will start hurting fast and you will see faint violet lines in your eyes (these go away after a few minutes).
