Better for what? You need to stop being so vague with your posts.

Blue and green lasers are going to be exactly the same for burning, if they are the same wattage, but blue diodes come in higher wattages. They'll both go further than the eye can see with provided wattage, but a green beam is much more 'visible' and will Appear brighter to your eye!

Color has little to do with burning ability, that’s more to do with power density, beam profile, and optics. And distance is again about optics (and brightness). All lasers diverge/fade eventually but you can minimize it with something like a beam expander and the right lens. Try reading some more threads on here or researching, asking if green or blue is better is an understandable beginner question but it goes a lot deeper than that

You can go nitpicking all day, but with everything equal but wavelength, green would be brighter to the eye

Maybe pedantic, but I disagree with the first statement. Depending on the light absorbed by the object, some things might burn easier with a green laser and others better with a blue laser. There's still no general way to answer the question, but if the ultimate goal is to burn, for example, grass (for whatever reason), then maybe it'd be more obvious which color would burn better.

In general, blue lasers are easier to find at higher power, and generally cheaper. But if there was a better wavelength all around, you'd probably see much more of whatever that wavelength is than anything else, because, if that was the case, why bother making different options?
