I just finished hooking up my first laser about a week ago. A 150 mW Blu-ray with driver that i bought on ebay. It looks like its housed in an axis but im not exactly sure. It burns well at close distances but in order to do so i always have to adjust the lense for the distance. Do blue lasers diverge more quickly than red or green or is this the same for all lasers lasers? I was also wondering if there is a difference between the glass axis lense that they sell seperately and the one that comes stock with the axis housing. If red is a good amount stronger then i want to get a 300 mW one to zap the bugs on my walls. Tell me what you guys think. Thx for the help :)

Divergence is based on your optics, thats why DPSS lasers with multimple lenses will
almost alway have a better beam than a diode and single lense set up.

You say that you have to focus the laser for burning, this is normal. All lasers will need
focusing to burn, unless of course they are ridiculously powerful.

The glass lens Aixiz sells for their modules will give you a slight increase in power so long
as you get the lense with the proper AR coating for the wavelength of your setup
