Im actually not sure, it was an older player that didnt work. I found it next to a *****ter lol. I put a cd in and it just wouldnt load. I dont have the scrap anymore, but i want to say it was a sony. I want to make a laser pointer with it, as it will be my first. Also, im not sure what host/module/driver i need. Any help is appreciated

I have nothing to try to research the answer for you without that info unless you know the "X" speed, then I can speculate. Maybe someone else here might now more about Sony Blu-Ray players, but I'm out on this one.

I guess I might hijack this thread a little instead of creating my own:p

I have a Magnavox blu-ray player with model no: MBP5130/f7

Can anyone help me figure out what diode is in here?

I did some looking around, and i believe the model was Sony DVD Player - Black (DVPSR210P). How would I find out what the diode is?
